Which is the best wood burning stove?

I need to replace my wood stove with a newer and more efficient one. Is a catalytic converter necessary with an air tight stove. Which brand is best for heating and some on top cooking. I need to heat 1,700 to 2,000 sq.ft.

   When I replace my wood burner, I plan on going to a pellet stove. You can maintain heat more in uniform. And they are cleaner and easier to use

   try KING brand , ive just got one , wood burning ,
   i think pellet ,are ok , but supply could be a problem
