		<description>Usually 18 inches from the wall  4 feet from drapes and furniture and if it is on legs must be 6' above the floor that has at least 2' cement or brick.  stove pipe through the wall or ceiling has to be double walled stainless. There are a few good details on the installation of wood stoves on line. Most if not all States require a permit be pulled and inspected by the fire inspector or building dept. Enjoy the heat especially when oil is over $3.00 a gallon and pallets are free</description>

		<description>Most models i believe are 18"-22" form conbustibles.  Can be shortened buy addign "firewalls".  but to be safe check code and your manufactuor of the stove.</description>
