		<description>Yes you certainly do need to clean your chimney.  I use my wood stove almost 24/7 all winter so I clean mine every other month.  Depending on how efficient your stove is and how often you use it you might need to do it monthly or yearly.  

If you use it a lot I would go up on the roof every month or so and see how dirty it is.

You can buy rods and a brush at most hardware stores or even online.  Avoid using those plastic brushes as they don't hold up as well as a steel bristle brush.  You will also want to know how tall your chimney is when you go to buy a brush.  Rods are expensive so you don't want to buy more than you need.</description>

		<description>Yes, its a good idea to clean the pipe at least once per year with straight pipes and more often with bends.  Metalbestos comes in at least two sizes generally, 6" and 8" diameter.  Get the right diameter brush for the size pipe you have.</description>
