Biogas Wood Stove Demonstration

This stove is a partial oxidation gas generator stove.

It produces Hydrogen, Carbon Monoxide, Methane and other cracked organic compounds. The same principle is in our books on gasification of wood for engines and cars.

Yes, you CAN run a car off this type of system and over 1 million vehicles did this during WWII… it can still work today

if you are using this inside to heat a house then you are brain dead stupid, and you must might get yourself brain dead or just dead from CO….

  2. knowpub says:

There is the same amount of ash you get from any load of pellets… and it burns about 45 minutes on a load of pellets.

  3. knowpub says:

Yeah..sure. ONCE.. .and then you’re DEAD.

Can this stove be used in an enclosed area?

  5. rckp1 says:

How long will this gasifier burn on a load of pellets? How much ash is there with this gasifier?

I bought one of these a couple weeks ago. I’ve been experimenting with it quite a bit since then, burning big chunks, small chunks, sticks stacked vertically, sticks stacked horizontally, hardwoods, softwoods, pine needles, pine cones, wood pellets, etc, etc.

I like it a lot. It boils water faster than our GE gas range. Its ultimate use will be to heat bath water at our cabin. Ponderosa pine needles carpet the ground inches thick there.

oh now… this camping stove is only for looks..you can only use it to stare at the pretty flames and the smell of wood smoke.. maybe..maybe..if you are really daring you might roast a marshmellow over it…but don’t push it.

May I ask you if I can cook on something like this? (outside ofcourse not inside) Or is this for other purposes and not that?

  9. knowpub says:

sure..it runs on AA batteries… does not matter what type or how you charge them…. there are lots of solar AA chargers available

  10. knowpub says:

Yeah… its the same.. and we sell EVERY book written on the subject of what you are talking about… see USH2 (dot) com….. it works, you can still do it today.

i bought one of these.. Love it, its great for ice fishing and any other place when you don’t want to start a regular fire to make some coffee.

  12. KARStarla says:

may I ask if you can get a solar battery recharger (in case of no electric) for this?

I think i saw this in a movie on a German Truck shortly after WW2 ends. The driver only burned some Wood and the engine of the Truck was running. Is that the same System?

i have one hooked up to a wind tubine, it stays on nearly all night heating the house, but sometimes its hard to find dry wood

  18. EXDEOBANDI says:

where can i buy this stove in chicago

  19. gtrefghuk says:

According to the website, you can get an optional solar panel that will run the stove or charge the batteries

  20. cdltpx says:

It generates 1.5 - 3 KW of heat, comparable to the big element on an electric stove; it burns only 10 g of fuel/min (40% efficient); and it can be used indoors with minimal emissions. It uses a single AA cell that lasts 3 hours on HIGH and 6 hours on LOW.
The stove sells for $55 plus shipping and comes with a full instructional manual. WOODGAS COOKSTOVES look it up on line. Nice video.

  21. knowpub says:

Yes..we are happy to ship them to the UK.

  22. knowpub says:

the batteries last more than 10 hours.. it rungs for about 45 minutes on wood pellets, about half that on twigs and sticks..but of course.. you can pick up sticks on the ground for FREE and keep on adding all the sticks you want…. there is no limit.
